Is the show 1000 ways to die REAL or FAKE?

I have admit this show is mildly entertaining but I have a very hard time believing they are based on real events. Im sure its fake even though they say its real but I was hoping someone could convince me otherwise. or just reinforce my theory that it is bullshit! :) fake or real -you tell me
