My wife is driving me to distraction with her constant noise making?

She's a living nightmare, I'm sure she waits for me to relax at night before she starts to hoover! When she cooks she slams the pans, she even mashes potatoes noisily. Yesterday I awoke to the sound of her fitting a door, It's not just me, I'm sure the neighbours would not be too happy at her drilling at 11.30 in the morning, the only time she is quiet is when she is pleasuring me, this in itself is an annoyance as I lose concentration on the TV programme I am watching, I have tried talking to her about her inconciderate attitude to chores and DIY, I have suggested that she could do these things whilst I am at the match or pub etc but no! Is a bit of peace and quiet too much to ask?, I have suggested an extension to the house with a 'quiet zone' for me but she's not prepared to put in the overtime at work!
