Is it rare for Catholics to divorce since its against their religion & if they do does the Church recognize it?

For example if it was against the Catholicism for Priests to get married (which it is) then they don't (and they don't). It is also against their faith to get divorced - would a religious Catholic therefore never get divorced and if they did, would they be allowed to remarry or how does this work?
