Will a transmission from a 97 4.3 s-10 fit my 95 chevy astro van 4.3?

i have a 95 astro with the 4.3 v6 with a bad , and i found a from a 97 s-10 with a 4.3 cheap.........do they fit or do i have to get one from an astro???
