A confession.....?

I basically told the guy that I have been infatuated with that I thought he was absolutely adorable. He smiles, blushes, says thank you, hugs me, kisses me on the cheek, hugs me again, pauses a moment.... then says have a great night and says nothing else. I basically think I was rejected... what do you think?
